This is an excellent restaurant. Food outstanding and service the same. Bang for y buck is excellent, just don't order to much. The servings are large. Pictures was eggs benedict and a Spanish omelette.

My favorite place for delicious omlets and even a decent assortment of dishes suited for a vegan. The restaurant is however packed but not often have I waited for a seat or a booth. Not an issue is the slight wait time when they are busy because what's served is fantastic and satisfying.

Great food, great sizes, great service. Nothing I would change. Thumbs up for sure!!!

Today we went to breakfast. We love their food and service. However, when we were leaving, an older couple went in without masks and they were allowed in despite the mandate by Governor Bullock. We will not be going there again even though it has been one of our favorite restaurants. I am so disappointed that they did not ask them to be masked and that they did not abide by the governor's orders.

Great service and food. Nothing fancy and priced right all around with a massive menu with something for everyone. My go to when going through Butte.

Yuck! I had the "Buffalo Burger Steak" with "grilled vegetables"...dry overcooked meat party with a frozen vegetable mix that was thrown on the grill; browned in spots but soggy. Just yucky.

Highly recommend! Everyone in my family of four thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Our server was great and you could tell he really enjoyed working there.

Super good food ... good prices ... large portions! what more can you ask for when you are looking for a good breakfast! The service we had was really good enough where we didn't need anything but not hovering while we ate.

The food was filling. The restaurant could use a deep cleaning and updating. The menu needs a new design and the plastic sleeves they were in had syrup(?) smeared on the inside pages. Our meals were large and everything was cooked thoroughly. There wasn't much seasoning on anything so the food was bland. It wasn't a bad meal though. I'd equate it to a truck stop diner or Sunday meal for a large family. A few tweaks to how they prepare the food and bringing in some fresh options would have this place jumping. The salad was iceberg lettuce. The mushrooms on the Big M burger were canned. The Monte Cristo was dry - no jam or sauce spread on it. The fries and onion rings were cooked perfectly but they were the frozen kind. Hanging Five doesn't break the wallet and there is something for everyone on the menu.

Crispy hashbrowns please! Yeah not even close! Typical entitled wait staff! Try somewhere else!

Great customer service. Great food. Huge portions for reasonable price. Slight whistle coming from kitchen heard when sitting next to the bar on the east side of the restuarant. 8/10 would eat there again.

Full size REAL loaded baked potato with real large bacon strips, and real cheese!!!! with an ok sirloin steak. Will be coming back when I pass through.

I tried waffles, hashbrowns muffin. Waffles are nice but the hashbrown is not good. Muffin is ok. Mcdonald is lot better compared to this if you dont like to eat waffles. I gave 3 star for the waffles and service.

Great service and prices. My one complaint was the beef dishes were a tad tough, it is a diner so *shrug*, but overall I would recommend. Serves beer too!

Overall had a great experience. Staff was very knowledgeable/honest about menu items. Offered great suggestions. The portions were quite large, you could share a plate easily. (And I’m a big eater). Had a small problem with our order, but they took such good care of us!

Bison Burger and Halibut fish were delicious. Roasted veggies were great too. Everything was cooked perfectly. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

If you're traveling and looking for a home cooked meal then stop in. I was absolutely amazed with our service and the food. Our dinners weren't loaded down with salt or overly seasoned. It was done to perfection with all the right seasoning so you tasted your meal. We came in late and were told you can order anything on the menu. Breakfast, lunch or dinner anytime you want. Our server was so kind and helpful. We had a newborn baby with us and he was very patient with our delays in ordering. I highly recommend stopping in.

Our waitress was very attentive and great for our party of 12, quick service for how much we had and it was all delicious! Huge servings

OUTSTANDING SERVICE, SO FRIENDLY, and great food thanks a bunch for the hospitality in BUTTE MONTANA almost made me want to move here. Monday and wensday have patsies which is a local favorite it's more or less a beef pot pie so good with brown gravy oh yea heaven I was in....

Friendly service for a large party. Please note Hanging Five is COVID19 compliant. No groups larger than 10. Breakfasts are HUGE. You can probably feed 3 children on a kids meal. Regular meals can probably feed 2 adults, especially if you order the Ginormous Cinnamon Roll, see photos for scale, I suggest splitting it.

My mother and I are from out of town and were looking for a good hometown restaurant. The hanging five did not disappoint!! The food was absolutely delicious and the prices were great. But what topped off the whole experience was our waitress Mego! She was excellent at describing the items on the menu and was on top off everything. Thank you hanging five we will definitely be back.

I don’t review often, but this place was awesome! Food was great!...I had the Pasty and couldn’t finish it and it was only $10...our bill for 4 people was $54 with 2 microbrews on the tab. The pasty was perfect and my kids’ meals were equally great...2 grilled ham and cheeses and a steak quesadilla. Also of note, our server, Mateo was as good as it gets! Definitely try this place if you’re in the area...we’re probably coming back for breakfast before we head out of town!

Price is reasonable for the size of portionsAnd service was good and the restaurant Was clean. Gave a four star because no one is perfect. Otherwise enjoyable.

Tried the breakfast combo with eggs, link sausage and pancakes (with added blueberries). The eggs and sausage were overcooked and dry; I ordered the eggs soft-scrambled so they didn’t get my order right. The pancakes were passable. The waiter was attentive and the service was decent for such a crowded restaurant. Your mileage may vary.

Great diner with a local feel. The breakfast combo was great. Wife enjoyed the halibut sandwich and the onion rings were good. Daughter enjoyed the bison burger.

Not too bad most the time nice people they really try hard service is great I'll never order the French dip I should know when it's hard are not hard but tough that you might be up for a while

The people and service were great 👍...but... the food was not great, the fries were good though...and for what they served the prices were very high..7$for a grilled cheese 🤔 and processed cheese to boot, mac and cheese from a box for 7$ 🤨..mashed potatoes were inedible...long day for bad food...

I ordered corned beef hash but what I received is more of a potato meal. There's two lbs of diced potato and only an ounce of corn beef chunk (no joke - see attached picture). You can count the chunks with your fingers. I ask the server if there's a mistake. She said that's how they make them. I wished I ordered something else. I'm not going to eat there again.

This is a great breakfast place in Butte. We have stayed overnight in Butte on our way to yellow stone national park and this was the place we had breakfast in the morning. The waiter is super friendly and the service was super fast. The food is delicious too. Definitely recommend if you are around this place.

Our server was awesome. E en during these trying times, they really went above and beyond. Great job to all the staff, because the food was great as well.

Very Meh, food was edible but not great and service was okay I guess but overall not a place I will come back to again too many other places to eat in town and this place is just okay.

The serving size was huge and the food was tasty. The waitress was very nice as well!
